Call for Volunteers!
The Queen Anne Farmers Market is looking for volunteers! As you may know, a lot has changed in farmers markets (and our world) and we are in need of help more than ever. We’re looking for people to help on market day who aren’t shy about interacting (from six feet away) with market shoppers. For your and shopper protection, we will provide a mask and gloves to be worn during your volunteer Shift.
To be exact, we need social distancing monitors and folks to kindly enforce our new market rules. Are you interested in being a friendly, knowledgeable (masked) face inside our markets? Of course, we will make sure you have time to shop from our farmers and connect with our awesome market staff during the day. Read more about roles here.
Keep in mind: While we are taking every precaution laid out for our markets by Seattle King County Public Health, volunteering in this capacity will put you near over 1,000 shoppers. If you are not comfortable with the inherent risk in this, we totally understand and we cherish your interest in becoming a volunteer, even later down the line. There will certainly be opportunities when this pandemic passes!
Masked volunteers ready to help how they can!
